UL Login

To start, navigate to the official UL Login page. Open your web browser and type or copy the following URL into the address bar:

This will take you to the University of Limpopo’s official login page where you’ll be prompted to enter your login credentials.

Step 2: Enter Your Student/Staff Number

Once you are on the login page, you will see fields for your Student or Staff Number. Carefully enter your unique university number in the required field. This number is your main access ID for all services provided by UL through this portal.

Example:

  • Student Number: 202012345
  • Staff Number: 1234567

Step 3: Input Your PIN

Next, input your PIN (Personal Identification Number). This is the unique number associated with your student or staff account. If you haven’t set one up yet, UL will provide instructions on how to create or retrieve your PIN on the login page.

Step 4: Click ‘Login’

After entering your student/staff number and PIN, click on the Login button. Make sure to double-check that all information is correct before proceeding.

Step 5: Access Your Dashboard

Once you’ve successfully logged in, you’ll be redirected to your UL dashboard, where you can:

  • Check course schedules
  • View and update personal information
  • Track your academic progress
  • Pay fees and access other financial services
  • Submit documents

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Forgot Your PIN? Don’t worry! The login page offers a “Forgot PIN” option. Click it, and follow the instructions to recover or reset your PIN.
  • Account Lockouts: After multiple unsuccessful attempts to log in, your account may get locked for security purposes. In this case, you can contact the UL IT helpdesk for assistance.

Step 6: Log Out Securely

When you’re done using the portal, always remember to log out to protect your personal information. To do this, click on the Logout button found at the top right corner of your dashboard.
